The House of BOVET has been awarded the Robb Report Best of the Best World Timer for the Orbis Mundi. Thank You, Robb Report!

So complicated and with so much elegancy presented and displayed, the Orbis Mundi is the absolute sustainability of the BOVET collections. They are inspired by Mr. Raffy, his engineers, and watchmakers.

As since 2001, when Mr. Raffy imagined in 2019 the Récital 26 Brainstorm Chapter Two patented universal time globe display with 24 time zones, he immediately shared with his engineers and watchmakers that this unique way to display the universal time deserved a very high end handcrafted middle complication. The Orbis Mundi is directly inspired by the timepiece that received the 2020 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève award for Mechanical Exception.

This modern expression of time is 100% handcrafted in House. The world time function is set using only the crown — there is no need to add correctors or any pushers, and all 24 time zones are read with just a glance.

In development for more than two years, the Orbis Mundi, Latin for “the world,” simplifies both the setting and the indications of the world timer for a new generation of watch lovers.

The Orbis Mundi, thanks to BOVET’s engineering expertise, is easy to set, using only the crown to both set the time and the 24 world cities. Turn the crown counter-clockwise to set the hours and minutes, and clockwise to set the unique 24 world time zone dial.
