BOVET Conquers World Time… Again
BOVET is honored to have the Récital 30 chosen as the Watch of the Year by Robb Report Monaco & Côte d’Azur. A revolutionary world time timepiece that solves the Daylight Saving Time problem that has plagued world timers for more than a century, the Recital 30 is designed to be the world traveler’s daily companion, always correct no matter the time of the year.
BOVET received this prestigious award at the Robb Report & Côte d’Azur Gala Dinner in the beautiful Hôtel de Paris in Monaco on July 16, 2025.

“My thanks to Robb Report Monaco & Côte d’Azur for this incredible honor,” says Mr. Pascal Raffy, owner, BOVET.
“My team and I worked long and hard to develop the Récital 30, the ultimate companion for the world traveler. This award really goes to all the artisans at BOVET who made this timepiece possible.”
Mr Pascal Raffy

A Little Background
In 2024, the Récital 28 Prowess 1 revolutionized world time timepieces as the first mechanical timekeeper to solve the Daylight Saving Time problem.
As a follow-up to the award-winning Récital 28 Prowess 1 comes the Récital 30, a completely new timepiece that focuses exclusively on the ground-breaking world time system.
The Récital 30 uses the innovative roller system from the Récital 28, allowing world travelers to accurately display 25 global time zones during the four time periods of the year — UTC, American Summertime, Europe and America Summertime, and European Wintertime.
While the Récital 28 is limited to 60 total movements, the Récital 30 is available in titanium and 18K gold without limitation, giving anyone and everyone access to the world time system. Developed alongside its big brother, this world timer is the result of over six years of development.
These two timepieces represent a significant leap in solving terrestrial timekeeping problems, ensuring accuracy in managing the world’s time zones.
-
Adjustable world time on rollers
-
Simple to understand, use, and set
-
6 years in development
-
Displays 25 independent time zones (including New Delhi, India)
The Récital 30 continues the legacy of the Récital 28, a world-first breakthrough that advances the art of high watchmaking and global timekeeping.

The Daylight Saving Time Problem
Ever since Daylight Saving Time (DST) was introduced, world time watches have not been able to adapt to the vagaries of when DST starts and ends in different countries and which countries do not change (only about 70 countries use some form of DST).
In reality, all world time watches were wrong during the Daylight Saving Time periods, either set for DST so the rest of the world was wrong by one hour, or set for the majority of the world and the DST countries were off by an hour.
Until the Récital 28 and now the Récital 30.

The New Solution
The Récital 30, thanks to its ingenious roller system borrowed from the Récital 28, can be adjusted to any of the four time periods of the year and all 24 world time zones, and New Delhi, will be accurate all year round.
The Récital 30 emphasizes the essentials needed for keeping track of world time. The world time rollers cover nearly the entire dial, making it the clear focus of this timepiece. In the center is a day/night indicator linked to the local time. As a result, the Récital 30 is the perfect companion for the world traveler.
The Récital 30 World Time System: The 26 rollers each have four positions, all controlled by the pushers on the right side of the case – UTC, AST (American Summer Time), EAS (Europe and America Summer Time), and EWT (European Winter Time).
Pushing the top pusher rotates each roller 90 degrees, so all 24 time zones are set to each of the four time periods of the year. The bottom pusher advances the 24-hour world dial at the center by one hour per push, making setting the entire world’s time extraordinarily simple.
With the Récital 30, BOVET continues to revolutionize world time timepieces, and many thanks to Robb Report Monaco & Côte d’Azur for recognizing this with the Best of the Best Watch of the Year Award.
