The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), the “Oscars of watchmaking,” is watchmaking’s most prestigious event. Held every year, the GPHG awards the best timepieces of the year in a number of different categories.
The Grand Prix awards are voted on by almost 1,000 knowledgeable watch industry experts, journalists, collectors, and watch retailers from around the world, with the final jury of 30 picking from the 90 Official Selection timepieces, chosen from thousands of submissions.

This year, BOVET is proud to announce that the Récital 30 has been chosen as an Official Selection in the Men’s Complication category.
Hailed as the superlative world timer, the Récital 30 has revolutionized watchmaking, focusing on the ground-breaking world time roller system first introduced last year in the Récital 28 Prowess 1. Thanks to this innovation, the Récital 30 is able to account for Daylight Saving Time in all 24 major time zones (and New Delhi), only the second mechanical timepiece to be able to do this (the first was the Récital 28).

Since 2018, BOVET has been honored with a total of five (5) GPHG awards:
-
2018: Aguille d’Or (the highest award) – Récital 22 Grand Récital
-
2020: Mechanical Exception – Récital 26 Chapter 2
-
2020: Lady’s Timepiece – Miss Audrey
-
2023: Calendar & Astronomy – Récital 20 Astérium
-
2024: Mechanical Exception – Récital 28 Prowess 1
All of the Official Selections will join the GPHG World Tour, which starts in September, visiting Shanghai, China; Istanbul, Turkey; Geneva, Switzerland; and Dubai, U.A.E. The GPHG traveling exhibition gives collectors the opportunity to see all these incredible timepieces in person, including the Récital 30.
Good luck to all the competing watches.
