Wako

Wako is located at the heart of this area, at the intersection of Ginza 4 Chome.

The building with its familiar landmark clock tower was built in 1932 (Showa 7) and has watched over the development of this city. Initially, it started as a retail division of the Hattori Watch Shop, which was founded in 1881 (Meiji 14). After the building was requisitioned by the occupying forces, it began full-scale operations as "Wako" in 1952 (Showa 27).

Since then, it has strived to satisfy customers with their high quality service and selection of products.
